Fast-track to where?

New Zealand’s Fast-track legislation and public reaction to projects being pushed ahead under the controversial new bill are getting international attention in two articles in The Guardian written by the newspaper’s NZ-based writer Eva Corlett.

Read what both Minister Shane Jones and a number of commenters speaking out strongly on the environmental impact of some of the first fast-tracked projects have to say –

“New Zealand will not be ‘guilt-tripped’ over environment, resources minister says” –

and

“Fast-track to where? The new law opening up New Zealand to a mining boom” – https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/may/27/fast-track-to-where-the-new-law-opening-up-new-zealand-to-a-mining-boom

Well just like Shane Jones, we have quite a lot to say too and we say NO to gambling with our water in Golden Bay.
