On behalf of the Sam’s Creek Collective and community, Julie Downard presented to the full TDC last week on the mine proposal and concerns. She was well supported by a group of GB community members – thank you all – making their views felt with their presence and signs.
Big thanks to Julie for stepping up to prepare and give this presentation to the council and starting an important discussion. The presentation has so far received media coverage in Stuff, the Nelson Mail, and RNZ and the Nelson App, while we anticipate seeing a story in this week’s GB Weekly, after its editor Jo Richards attended the TDC meeting.
